What to do when lower lash mascara get messy
There’s nothing worse than when a gorgeous makeup look is ruined by messy mascara beneath the eyes. Unfortunately, it happens easily and often. “Aside from crying, there are quite a few ways to get a messy under-eye,” Jade Griffin shares. “Eye sensitivities, allergies, makeup formulas, strong winds, and even lack of sleep can cause the eyes to water, disturbing the makeup.”
If your eyes are prone to tears and you are determined not to skimp on lower eyelash definition or volume, sometimes the best approach is to simply plan for smearing. That’s also the case if you are concerned that waterproof mascara may not be good for your eye health. If you’re worried about inevitable smudging, then pack some cotton swabs in your purse. That way, you can always pop into the bathroom and swipe under your eye to keep your makeup looking clean and fresh.
