Ciara’s ruffled hot pants at Coachella just didn’t look that great
We were all thrilled when Ciara joined rapper Megan Thee Stallion on the Coachella stage; however, we couldn’t help but focus on her hot pants during the entire performance. The “1, 2 Step” singer wore denim shorts with a ton of ruffles, creating a unique and odd look — one that instantly reminded us of a mop head. And when it comes to fashion, that is not really a link you want.
Lisa’s puffer coat was a look we wish she’d simply skipped at Coachella
When Lisa entered the stage at Coachella’s Sahara Tent, we couldn’t help but cringe at her oversized black puffer coat. This particular look was super popular in the mid-2010s thanks to stars like Rihanna; however, it has definitely gone out of style since. Luckily, the coat was only worn for part of her performance, after which the performer recently known for “The White Lotus” took it off to reveal the stunning outfit she had on underneath.
Julia Fox’s Coachella look exposed it all
Julia Fox’s inappropriate Coachella outfit had heads turning for all the wrong reasons. The “Uncut Gems” star attended a star-studded party at the festival, and while we’re used to her outfits being extreme, she truly never fails to top a previous look, at least in terms of shock factor. Fox showed up to the event in a beige corset and chaps; however, she chose to wear a pair of tights over her underwear, resulting in a very odd look. The fact that she chose thongs for her underwear and her derrière was semi-exposed definitely added to the head-turning effect.
Tyla’s unbuttoned hot pants repeated an overdone trend at Coachella 2025
Tyla is known for her mesmerizing dance moves, and we certainly expected a revealing outfit that she could easily dance in for her performance. However, when the “Water” singer showed up on stage in denim hot pants that weren’t zipped up, we couldn’t help but feel a tad disappointed. Unzipped pants and shorts are a trend that we’ve seen numerous times, yet there are so many better ways to accentuate your curves and show some skin without risking your bottoms falling off.
Cynthia Erivo’s Coachella outfit made her look outdated
Cynthia Erivo is a Hollywood star who’s usually known for her impeccable style. In fact, she’s one of the celebrities who has nailed method dressing; there aren’t many who do it better than the “Wicked” diva. However, her 2025 Coachella look was underwhelming. The singer usually excels at combining different styles and textures in her fashion, but when she joined Gustavo Dudamel and the Los Angeles Philharmonic on stage, the black satin and white lace dress combined with suede boots ended up reminding us just a tad too much of grandma’s home.
Lola Young’s hood made her Coachella outfit too costumey
Lola Young is known for her unapologetic music, so it’s unsurprising that her fashion is just as bold. However, her fuzzy and hooded 2025 Coachella stage look was a ‘fit we wish she hadn’t worn. While we’re all about comfy Coachella fashion because heels and corsets aren’t everything — and the cargo pants and bikini top definitely fit that category — the fuzzy hood with floppy ears was a costume-like choice that ensured her a spot on our list. Luckily, the “Messy” singer didn’t keep the hood on during her entire performance, which helped save it in the end.
Emma Roberts’ Coachella fashion was bland and boring
Emma Roberts undoubtedly knows how to play the fashion game, but when she showed up to the Red Bull Mirage at Coachella 2025, we couldn’t help but feel disappointed. The star’s simple and preppy outfit was cute, but it certainly didn’t scream “festival fun.” For an occasion like Coachella, we expected the “Scream Queens” star’s outfit to be a tad more dramatic.
Now, for comparison, here’s what the worst-dressed celebs at Coachella 2024 looked like.
