  If you’ve never seen these hair ties before, I’ll be the first to tell you these things are pretty awesome. I think the term is “beach waves.” Either way, Pete & Pedro’s Salt spray is formulated specifically for men and is definitely one of the better sea salt sprays you’re going to come across. Infused with natural sea salt and kelp extract, this premium sea salt spray leaves hair looking thicker, fuller, and more manageable, while the kelp extract nourishes and hydrates. It’s important to use a quality brush or comb that helps smooth the hair shaft while minimizing damage and breakage. A boar bristle brush or a quality nylon brush are great for working through tangles without getting caught on knots or pulling out healthy hair strands. The difference between a quality brush and a cheap one is much bigger than most men realize.

  Great tips and recommendations. I never really thought much about using a multivitamin to keep my long hair healthy so I’m grateful you put it on the list. That’s something that makes total sense but not something most men would really think about when it comes to maintaining their long hair. My hair has been growing for close to 3 years and I really haven’t done much with it in terms of maintenance and care, sad to say. My ends are in kind of rough shape, split ends etc. so I probably need to get those trimmed off. But I’m definitely looking forward to getting my hair healthy and looking its best. What’s the point of growing out long hair if it’s going to look like crap, right?
