Megan Fox & Brian Austin Green: A Remarkable Hollywood Divorce Success Story

Megan Fox proves mutual respect makes a difference when co-parenting

In her own way, Megan Fox has echoed a similar sentiment. While she prefers to keep both her life as a parent and her personal life largely private, she has yet to speak negatively of her ex-husband. When he is mentioned, she’s quick to emphasize the importance of mutual respect in co-parenting. Something she and Brian Austin Green have done an excellent job of maintaining for the sake of their children.

During an appearance on Drew Barrymore’s “Drew” show to discuss her poetry book “Pretty Boys are Poisonous,” Barrymore, who also went through a post-divorce glow-up, couldn’t help but ask about Fox’s co-parenting arrangement after commenting on how she had seen Green speak so gracefully about his relationship with his ex-wife. In a rare moment, Fox opened up about her ways of co-parenting, just like the time she candidly shared her experience with body dysmorphia.

The actor said she never speaks negatively, even in the most subtle manner, about her children’s father. She emphasized, “… if I don’t accept and love their father, I’m rejecting a part of them because he’s a part of who they are, always. He’s in their blood and he’s in their psyche, and they exist because of him.”

Fox’s approach shows so much care and self-awareness in her role as a mother. With a drama-free co-parenting dynamic and solely prioritizing her children’s well-being, she sets an example for anyone navigating divorce while co-parenting.
