In 2009, Jill Biden had our jaws on the floor when she put her toned and tan gams on display while visiting the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater in New York. Despite the visit happening during fall in the Big Apple, Biden didn’t let the cold bother her as she ditched frumpy hosiery and bared her uncovered legs in a classy, dark green dress that featured a large brooch near the collarbone. The beauty looked years younger than her age and highlighted her pins via black, open toe, stiletto slingbacks.

When Jill Biden attended the Democratic National Convention in 2016, we were wowed again by how sophisticated yet youthful she looked. She wore an A-Line, white dress that featured several lines of semi-sheer paneling, which stopped it from looking stuffy and aging. Jill also elongated her calves via her nude, Christian Louboutin heels, which kept all eyes on her enviable, bare legs. This wouldn’t be the last time she’d serve a look at this event. Nearly a decade later, at the 2024 DNC, she wore an outfit that would prove to us that politicians can be fashion icons.

Jill Biden proved age is just a number again in 2016 when she and former president Joe Biden appeared on “Late Night with Seth Meyers.” She gave us super youthful and edgy vibes in a black, leather-look mini dress, which she teamed with electric blue, strappy heels with string ties. The spicy number put her muscular legs front and center and felt like a look pop star Jennifer Lopez could have worn to show off her own killer legs. 

During a 2016 event at the White House, Jill Biden showed us how a neutral outfit is anything but boring with the right styling. She wore a short, long-sleeve, dark gray V-neck dress. But rather than go with matching heels, she paired it with coral court shoes that brought a fun pop of color to the look. She also added a layered, beaded necklace, which was very on-trend at the time. This look proved fashionable dressing has no age limit and confirmed, once again, that Biden has the best legs in politics.

All eyes were on Jill Biden’s sporty legs during King Charles III’s coronation in London. She once again gave us a masterclass in sophisticated but youthful dressing in a monochrome, all-blue ensemble that finished at the knee. Though she covered her hands with gloves in the same shade, her calves were bare and tan. To avoid overdoing it with the one-color ensemble, she added chic nude stilettos that elongated her legs.
