When not playing Beth Dutton, Kelly Reilly keeps things calm and peaceful
In November 2024, Kelly Reilly talked to Town & Country about how much she loves her anonymity, especially the fact that some fans only know her as Beth Dutton. “I quite like that they don’t know my actual name. I’m very private. I don’t want people to know where I am, what I’m doing, my inner workings,” Reilly told the magazine, adding that it feels “rebellious” to stay out of the limelight in that way.
Even though “Yellowstone” has garnered fans all over the world and is even impacting fashion, for example the denim trends you’ll be seeing everywhere in 2025, when Reilly isn’t working, she steers clear of all the hoopla. “I don’t participate in the noise in any way. I stay out of it,” Reilly told Town & Country. “The only safe place for me is in the work — and then home with my husband. Very boring.”
In December 2024, “Yellowstone” officially came to an end with its final episode. “It was like, ‘Let’s just give it your whole heart and give these characters and the show the ending that they deserve,'” Reilly told People in November 2024. With Beth Dutton in her past, it will be exciting to see what Reilly does next. She’s already proven she can do Shakespeare, period films like “Pride & Prejudice,” and even comedies with “Greek Salad” and the “L’Auberge Espagnole” trilogy before that, so clearly Reilly is capable of anything — in addition to being an all-around gorgeous person.
