The Controversial Wedding Guest Outfit That Candace Cameron Bure Will Never Forget

This was not Candace Cameron Bure’s first wedding-guest faux pas

Candace Cameron Bure has been a household staple across TV screens since the 1980s when she played DJ Tanner on the hit sitcom “Full House,” and since then, Candace Cameron Bure’s style has undergone quite the transformation. That being said, Candace Cameron Bure has certainly had her share of inappropriate outfits, including one at another wedding.

In January 2024, her oldest son Lev Bure got married. Now, we haven’t even approached discussing the dress code for the mother of the groom, but some were not pleased with what she chose to wear to walk her son down the aisle. The actor decided on a metallic gold textured gown, because looking like a trophy certainly won’t take attention away from the bride. While some fans praised her look and even asked where they could buy the dress, one reprimanded her in the comments of her Instagram post from the ceremony, writing, “The gold dress is simply NOT appropriate attire for MOB.” Another added, “So it was about you.”

When it comes to weddings at least, the common theme that lets Bure down is her taste for show-stopping styles that might look great on their own, but risk stealing the spotlight from the happy couple.
