Kelly Rowland
In March 2008, Kelly Rowland told People that she got her A cups enlarged to a B cup, adding that one cup up was enough for her and if she’d gone larger, like a D cup, it would have been too much. For Rowland, it was about being able to fit into clothing better.
“There was this one really hot House of Dereon top — I just wanted to fill that out,” said Rowland. When she tried on the top again after her surgery, she was elated. “I put it on and I looked so good! I’m so happy. I feel complete,” explained Rowland. “It is a decision I made for myself. I like it, and that’s all that counts.”
In 2017, after having a baby and breastfeeding, Rowland wrote in her book, “Whoa, Baby!” that she was open to another breast augmentation after she’s done growing her family. “My nipples were HUGE — we are talking the size of Frisbees — and sometimes I could see these veins bulging out while I was nursing,” Rowland wrote, via E! News. “Even with the silicon action, it was like some of the air had been sucked out and they just sort of hung there like flapjacks.” As of 2025, Rowland has yet to go for her second round of augmentation.
Anna Faris
After initially making a name for herself playing Cindy Campbell in the “Scary Movie” franchise, Anna Faris’s career consisted of roles that helped her continue to prove just how funny she is. But it was 2008’s “The House Bunny,” followed by 2011’s “What’s Your Number?” that gave Faris the leading roles she truly deserved. It was also about this time that she started thinking about a breast augmentation.
“I was always a negative-A cup, so when I was 30, I was getting a divorce [she was married to Ben Indra for four years], I had just finished ‘House Bunny,’ and I’d sold another movie, all of these new things were happening to me, so I got my breasts done. It was f***ing awesome,” Faris told Women’s Health in April 2018, adding that she never thought she would do such a thing because she considered it caving to the patriarchy. “But it came down to a really simple thing: I wanted to fill out a bikini. What would that feel like? I’m still floored that I did it, because I am a staunch feminist.”
Being a feminist is tied to making decisions for yourself and your own body. So whether you get every procedure done under the sun or you’re one of the many celebs who have been vocal about avoiding plastic surgery, it doesn’t affect your status as a feminist. What it does affect is when you don’t support a woman’s right to, say, abortion access.
Chrissy Teigen
If there’s one celebrity who’s been consistently honest about plastic surgery of all kinds, it’s Chrissy Teigen. She’s an open book about everything, including her struggles with alcohol, her life-saving abortion, and so much more, which is one of the many reasons she’s so easy to admire. “Yeah, I did my boobs when I was about 20 years old,” Teigan told Glamour UK in August 2020. “It was more for a swimsuit thing. I thought, if I’m going to be posing, laid on my back, I want them to be perky! But then you have babies and they fill up with milk and deflate and now I am screwed.”
Because pregnancy, especially if you nurse, does a number on breasts, Teigen decided to have her implants removed. “If I could do one thing, it would be to have a lift. I think you’re supposed to replace [implants] every ten years,” Teigen told the magazine, adding that when you have kids, you need to weigh the potential risks of such an operation. “I think, ‘This is not the way I want to die, in boob surgery,'” said Teigen. When the model officially had her implants removed in summer 2020, her friends were kind enough to send her a boob cake with a headstone that read, “RIP 2006-2020.”
Kristin Cavallari
For Kristin Cavallari of “Laguna Beach” fame, one breast augmentation wasn’t enough. In 2024, on an episode of her “Let’s Be Honest” podcast, via E! News, Cavallari shared that she had breast implants twice. She explained, while she was initially against plastic surgery for herself, things changed after breastfeeding her three children.
“I had my boobs done twice,” she explained on her podcast. “I got them done after I breastfed Jaxon — my second — and then I got pregnant with Saylor. And so, as soon as I was done breastfeeding Saylor, I was like I’m just gonna redo them just because they looked awful again.” Cavallari also said that her breast augmentation was one of the best things she’s done for her self-esteem and confidence.
In May 2025, Cavallari went under the knife again. On her podcast, she talked about how she didn’t like how her right breast was “laying,” to use her words. It turned out that the implant had ruptured, so surgery was necessary, not just for how she wanted her breasts to look, but for health reasons — after all, breast implant-related illnesses are real. Cavallari went on to explain that if she were single, she’d take her implants out, but at the moment, she feels that she needs them. “Right now in my life is when I need the best boobs imaginable,” Cavallari revealed on her podcast. “And so, you know, I’m sure some people won’t understand that and that’s okay — because it’s not your body.”
Kaley Cuoco
According to the Mayo Clinic, the most common reasons people choose to get breast augmentations are to even out breasts that aren’t the same size, to improve self and body confidence, and, as we’ve seen on this list, to breathe life back into breasts after breastfeeding. But for Kaley Cuoco, star of “The Big Bang Theory” and “The Flight Attendant,” among other successful series, it was about making her body proportional.
“I had no boobs! And it really was the best thing ever! I always felt ill-proportioned,” Cuoco told Redbook in December 2014. “My implants made me feel more confident in my body. It wasn’t about trying to be a porn star or wanting to look hot and sexy.”
Cuoco got her breast implants when she was 18 years old and told Cosmopolitan in March 2014, It was the “best decision [she] ever made.” Further proving she’s not one to shy away from talking about her plastic surgeries, she told People in November 2016 that she’s also had a nose job, and filled a line in her neck that she’d had since she was a kid. “As much as you want to love your inner self … I’m sorry, you also want to look good,” Cuoco told the magazine. “I don’t think you should do it for a man or anyone else, but if it makes you feel confident, that’s amazing.”
