How Ivanka Trump achieves her signature blond shade<\/h2>\n

Now that we know Ivanka Trump’s golden blond hair color isn’t natural, we want to know how we can replicate it. Her flattering\u00a0blond shade is total inspo for our next salon trip. Luckily for us, Trump’s colorist Kyle White, lead colorist at Oscar Blandi, is open about his process.<\/p>\n

“Ivanka’s blond is created by weaving foil highlights on her natural base color. The highlights are woven with a medium-size thickness and lifted to a pale baby blond,” he told New Beauty, revealing he’s very careful about where he places the highlights to ensure they’re flattering. “[We leave] enough darkness at her roots to ensure she won’t look washed out; they then progress into solid blond ends, which gives that illuminating glamorous effect only very blond hair can do,” he said. That’s similar to the method used by popstar\u00a0Sabrina Carpenter, a natural blond\u00a0who uses highlights to lighten her locks, too.<\/p>\n

Though White is Ivanka’s go-to colorist, Daily Mail reported she also visits stylist Rita Zito at the same New York salon for professional cuts. But such gorgeous locks don’t come cheap. According to the outlet, Ivanka may spend as much as $1,000 every time she gets a cut and color at the Oscar Blandi Salon.
