In December 2023, Kate Middleton attended the opening of a new surgery unit at Evelina London Children’s Hospital. For the event, she arrived in a navy blue suit that had been clearly tailored to fit her perfectly \u2014 if it wasn’t made exclusively for her in the first place. She completed the look with a matching navy top, creating a winning monochromatic outfit all the way down to her heels. With her gorgeous hair cascading over her shoulders and her wide strides, Middleton looked both flawless and confident.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

One of the biggest standout features of this particular look is the 1970s vibe from the cut of the pantsuit and the wide bottoms that include a perfect crease down the front. Because Kate Middleton was visiting the British Fashion Council to present the Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design in May 2025, it only makes sense that she would opt for a pantsuit that’s more trendy than traditional. Middleton appears to be having a topless blazer moment, albeit royal style, with a bright double-breasted blazer. Her matching pants hit exactly at her ankle, leading us to believe that, yes, Middleton absolutely gets these looks tailored. The Princess of Wales chose to wear this fantastic pinstripe suit\u00a0when she visited the Fitzalan High School in Cardiff, Wales, to celebrate Black History Month.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Considering she was going to a school to talk to students, some of whom may have been intimidated by her royal presence, this look was a perfect choice, and completely on trend as the everyday allure of pinstripes came back in fashion in 2023. Not only did she go for a pink pantsuit, but she chose a matching pink shirt to go with it \u2014 creating another monochromatic look. Pink, similar to purple, isn’t always an easy color to wear and choose accessories for, but Middleton chose wisely. To complete this outfit, she went for a white pump and a white belt with subtle adornment. Opting for white accessories breaks up the pink, without being overbearing like black would be.
