Michelle Obama has admitted there’s at least one show she and Barack Obama can watch together with their daughters. She told Entertainment Weekly in 2022 that the foursome love to watch the comedy “Abbot Elementary,” starring red carpet queen Quinta Brunson. “It’s so fresh and thoughtful \u2014 it’s so easy to sit on the couch and watch it together,” she said.<\/p>\n

But even though the couple’s TV tastes are largely different, they’ve found other ways to bond. The former first lady has shared that a mutual love of food is one way she and Barack get quality time together. “We have dinners alone and chunks of time where it’s just us \u2014 what we were when we started this thing: no kids, no publicity, no nothing. Just us and our dreams,” she told People. Food was a big part of their first date, too. Albeit not in the most extravagant way. “I treated her to the finest ice cream Baskin-Robbins had to offer, our dinner table doubling as the curb. I kissed her, and it tasted like chocolate,” Barack recalled in a sweet interview with Oprah.com.<\/p>\n
