Karoline Leavitt’s Fashion Misses Share a Surprising Common Thread

Karoline Leavitt married Nicholas Riccio, a real estate developer, in January 2025. At the time of their wedding, she was 27 while he was 59, marking a 32-year age gap. She wears sombre, muted colors. She wears long skirts and dresses that create a stunted silhouette, and she’s frequently in boxy layers that age her. She loves bouclé sets and big blazers with long slacks. She dresses like a woman in her husband’s age bracket, not like a woman in her late 20s. Our theory is that her husband’s sensibilities are influencing her fashion taste. Maybe once Leavitt gets more comfortable at her job – she only assumed the office on January 20, 2025 — she’ll experiment with different styles and wear more age-appropriate clothing.
